Who else is in to the outdoors and fly fishing? This will be my first year teaching fly fishing lessons with local kids. The past 2 years I've done just normal fishing lessons, which included knot tying, reel maintenance, how to properly care of the fish, and rules and regulations as well. I collect and refurbish fishing poles and at the end of the season the kids bring that pole they used for the lessons home, along with a small tackle bag I put together for them. I had a close family friend/local kid I taught to fish, pass in a car accident about a year ago. So now I have named these lessons/trips in his name and legacy to help keep his memory alive in the new youth I'm teaching today. Right now, there are so many overstock and deals on items since season is out for alot of anglers. If you happen to be in a place where you're able to donate an item, it would be greatly appreciated and I can add you to the Facebook group to see the smiles on the kids faces this year as they use an item you purchased for them. If you also happen to have old tackle that's not going to be used, I would be willing to pay for shipping on items they can use as well. These Items will be used for children ages 5-14 so far!! I have 10!! Yes 10 kids signed up already. It's going to be the best year yet. I need to go looking for reels to clean and fix at yard sales and pawn shops to ensure we always have enough for the kids pole wise. I didn't expect such a great turnout before spring! I expect numbers to double when word spreads and the kids from last year sign back up. Hope everyone has a great Christmas. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/3JCZRQYAESYQ2?ref_=wl_share
