Artificial recommendations for baitcaster salt water newbie
Post Body

So I recently got a Shimano Slx dc setup and trying to learn how to catch fish with fake/artificial/plastic lures. I fish in South Texas salt water with channel catfish/ladyfish/Redfish in my favorite spot specifically. I usually use frozen shrimp with my spinning and do good. What plastic hard or soft do you recommend I try using for a higher chance? I know I have to try multiple colors of it depending if they are picky, but a certain starting point will be nice. I narrowed some research to Vudu shrimp, x rap rapala, z-man Jackhammer/minnowz, and spoons. Are they good options? The channel I fish in maxes at about 15 feet. Thank you!
