Post Body

I’ve spent 20 years fishing the lakes of the Midwest but have a trip coming up planned to head of the keys. I am renting a boat and we will spend the bulk of our time snorkeling and relaxing but I’d love to throw a line off here and there. Probably just reefs/wrecks, etc. The boat will come with a couple spinning rods but I’m just looking for suggestions on a down and dirty tackle/bait setup for a couple days of messing around that won’t break the bank. Searching google for info in that area leads me more towards offshore, deep fishing and other rabbit holes.

Thanks!
