I am looking for a rod and real that would have me covered from kahawai to snapper to kingies. Budget max $500. I am not an expert at all, more of an intermediate level. My mate recently got a boat, so I am looking to get a new rod and real to head out with him. I generally like using softbaits, but would like a rod that can do some topwater as well. Woudl love to know wich line weighs, drag weight etc I need. Thanks in advance and excited to hear some recommendations!
