[?] Newbie questions about how to construct a terminal rig for sea fishing? (UK)
Post Body

This is the equipment I have available from an xmas gift: https://m.imgur.com/a/ZlkIhRW

I've been googling how to create some terminal rigs. My first thought was just "end of line to swivel, attach lure to swivel." Apparently this is bad. Beyond that I'm struggling to find much concrete advice.

Firstly, nowhere is it said expressly but I'm guessing I need to cut the line to make rigs. So cut like a foot of line to instert between swivel and lure? And no weight with the lure I guess.

Presumably the same thing applies to the patanoster type rig. Cut line, insert on the...snood I think?

Got to be honest, I have no idea what the pink thing or the spiral things are lol.

So yeah, pretty lost and any help or guides are welcome.
