Hello. I am an entry level bass fisherman, but since it's out of season, I decided I would like to try out trout fishing this weekend.
The fishing reports are boding well for the area I'm going to (Lake Chabot in California) and everyone seems to be doing great on power bait. I've looked up how to rig power bait and it doesn't seem terribly complicated, so I will be having a dedicated pole for power bait.
I was wondering if you guys had any tips or other secrets to trout fishing, aside from patience of course. This is my first time fishing for trout and I want it to be great. Thanks for the help!
