Tipping bait store worker when buying handpicked shrimp

Are you supposed to tip bait the store worker when buying hand picked shrimp? One of my buddy's says you are, another says no since you are already paying a higher price. I tip sometimes if the bait store guy goes through a bunch of tiny shrimp to find me some decent sized ones.
