. . (Why I want a new rod below) feel free to skip the first text box or answer title for no reading;p
(My old garbage telescope rod that was actually kinda new bearly used just said goodbye got in on sale for almost half price but still kinda expensive though a crappy brand. the glue around the rings and around the reel loosened making it wobble when in use it happened on the same day and can’t properly retract it now sure with some glue it can be fixed but probably not worth it so want to buy something proper this time My budget is around for the rod/combo deal though I have Spar reels 100-150$ ish recommendations appreciated size-wigth and stuff though probably gonna go with something that’s in stock on small local stores not super specific ones. shipping tax/toll is exstra expensive her here and don’t have all brands in country store)
I read a lot about how everyone agrees 1 piece is so much better and I kinda want one but mobility is an huge issue since I don’t drive and walk a lot hike/forest/new-fishingspot and wonder how much differents it actually makes. How it impacts sensitivity seems most important people say new rods are harder to tell apart and also say 2 and 4 piece is also basically the same so go with more pieces for mobility and less for fast rod setup though 4 piece cost more produce. Lots of conflicting answers on different forums and no actual direct comparison or test to show flexibility vibrations or anything just opinions so though I would ask if someone here that fish a lot and have tried different stuff it probably has Less durability but should still be an good rod?
I have a cheap stiff 3 piece variety rod so it will not be my only rod
