Iv been keeping guppies on and off for about 15 years and I never have success with them. Theyāll all fight and kill each until only 1 remains. When I asked fish stores and keepers the answer was always āguppies are showy competitor fish like bettas, so they will naturally fight with any other fish that are brightly coloured and have long finsā. This always stumped me because guppies seem to get along well in anyone elseās tank and thrive best in a school. I have tried to have an equal mix of sexes and Iv tried to have males only (so thereās no ladies to fight over) but all attempts failed. Does anyone else have issues with guppies fighting? Is this normal guppy behaviour or just a case of bad fish luck?
