Is there any hope for an average someone under 30 to even buy a house, literally anywhere?

New follower here. My husband and I (25 and 24) are wishing to buy a house in the next couple years. I know there are soooo many factors that go into the affordability of a house, but it just constantly feels like it’s becoming less and less likely that we will ever be able to do more than rent. We unfortunately aren’t high earners (average about$75k a year for the both of us) and again, just very average people. Is it that people like us don’t deserve to own a home? Do we not deserve the luxury of calling habitable property ours? I mean, it’s not like we’re looking for a million dollar home on what nowadays comes off as a poor man’s salary, not trying to live outside our means, but as average people are our means just that.. little? I thought I was a frugal person, I don’t spend an exorbent amount of money except on bills because everything about living is so expensive. I’m sorry if this make me come off as though I am entitled, but it’s very frustrating that it feels like the only way we’d ever afford a home is if a rich uncle we never knew existed died and left everything to us. It feels like no amount of saving will ever get us a home that’s not owned by another person or entity. It feels hopeless.
