Thinking about buying my first home (23M) but not completely sure if I’m ready yet. Rn I have about 15k in the bank. I make right under 50k right now but next month I will be starting a new job making a little over 60k. Have a 753 fico score Have no debt at all Looking to do a down payment of about 9k for a First time home buyer loan Looking to staring seriously searching for a home in October but just not sure if I’m ready yet. Looking for homes around 220k. I live in the Charlotte area. Am I ready or should I wait a bit longer Update: I did get prequalified for about 240k at around 5.4%. thank you all for the advice. I do have a couple grand in my brokerage account as well but I don’t really want to dip into that. I’m looking to move out of my parents house in the next couple of months so that’s why I was looking to buy instead of rent. But I think I’m gonna save up till I’m about 15-18k in money that I’m fine with putting down before I buy. But I will be looking at some closing cost/ down paying assistance programs like some of y’all suggested
