This is more of just a quick survey but are there any fire departments that do not allow personnel to stop at the grocery store once a shift?
I cook for my crew, 90% of the time it’s not a big deal for me to hit the grocery store before shift but sometimes it’s a major pain the ass. Then I have to rely on Kroger delivery which although I pay the 99 bucks a year for free delivery still costs more when you factor on a tip.
It would be nice to be able to head to the grocery store once a shift or pick up food from a restaurant on nights where we’ve end up running a bunch around the time I’m cooking.
Just a minor annoyance 🤣

Bro you are FDNY y’all are wild as hell 😂. We can’t stop for anything. As far as why, leadership with no balls when they get a “why are firefighters at Kroger”. Well, and control.
