Just wondering if anyone knows if there are any calculations involved in regards to staff hit rates like in the earlier games (besides the weapon rank bonuses). Or if staves have static hit rates. Like would having higher magic in relation to an enemies resistance increase my chances of landing a hit with a staff like entrap, enfeeble, freeze, etc.

After some testing in chapter 6 using Eliseโs freeze staff. I can confirm that the calculations for staff hit and avoid in the above linked thread are accurate.
