Most reliable conceal and carry piece?

It use to always be said that a good simple S&W revolver was the most reliable thing you could have to quickly pull out and end the situation if one came.

That is what I use to hear though 20 years ago. It was that their revolvers didn't glitch when you needed it the most and most had enough stopping par to end the situaiton.

I heard recently things have changed?

I know a lot of cops and others use Glocks and I think in particular Glock 19 or 22 but I don't think those have a lot of stopping power unless you aim certain kill zones and or fire more than once.

In your opinion if your in a bad situation and you need to end it quickly what are you wanting? Something that will not fail you.
