Springfield XPM 5.25” 9mm discontinued?

Forgive me. I’m new to the firearm world and arriving at a strange time. I’d really like to get a springfield XDM 5.25” but it’s sold out everywhere. The 4.5” seems like a decent alternative but I’d rather hold out a couple months if the larger model will be back in stock. Anyone with Specific knowledge about that model being discontinue or, thoughts on how long it might take manufacturers to restock?
