Scope mounting questions. Xpost longrange
Post Body

Long range precision shooters. I have a few questions for you. I'm trying to hit the 1000m mark and I want to squeeze every bit of accuracy out of this as I can.

Preface. My build AR-10 .308 Cal 18” heavy barrel with a monolithic keymod rail with Picatinny running full length.

Scope I have chosen:

Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50 FFP EBR-2C (MRAD) Reticle | 30mm Tube

Question #2) Sunshade vs Without? Which do you prefer and why?

Question #3) Any other words of advice or suggestions?
