Hey y’all,
I’m (M20) from California and thinking about registering and purchasing my first handgun when I turn 21.
If the second amendment exists we should put it to use. When it comes to protecting your family and home, it’s better to be prepared than not. Plus I just have an admiration for firearms as we all do lol.
I understand that a handgun is not the best choice, depending on who you ask, for home defense, but I figured it would be good to start off with.
The handguns that I’ve been interested in are more concealed carry guns because eventually I’d want to register for a CCW. The Sig P365x Macro Comp, Springfield Hellcat Pro, and M&P Shield Plus Carry Comp are my top 3 for guns that I’m considering buying first. Keeping my budget under $1k, I just want to buy a gun that is reliable, efficient, fun to shoot, and tastefully designed as these 3 are. I’ve never tested any of these guns before but after researching and watching a ton of youtube videos, these seem to fit what I’m looking.
Do you guys have any suggestions on what else I should look at for? Specifically for home defense since I’d probably not get my CCW for a while.
Thanks:)
