Going shooting with a friend at a fire range. Have not used a gun before and am a little worried I might not be the right person to be handling a gun.
Post Body
Hi, I have a friend who I am going to shoot with at a range. I have not handled a gun before.
I have adhd. I tend to be forgetful and can miss small details. I also tend to get nervous with things I associate with danger. I am a little worried I might get startled by recoil, point the gun somewhere stupid, or make a mistake. I understand modern guns are probably (mostly) idiot proof.
I'd LIKE to think I can handle a gun but as the date approaches I am getting a bit nervous.
