So I’m replaying 3H rn and when your first introduced to the students of the three houses and something stuck out to me that hadn’t noticed before. All of the students in the Golden Deer House introduce themselves with their first and last name. While everyone in the Blue Lions and Black Eagles only gives you their first name aside from Ferdinand von Aegir ofc. I think it lets us in on how those in the Leicester Alliance interact. They have a ruling council of sorts while Adrestia and Faerghus have singular monarchs. Nobility and power are decided by proximity to those rulers and rarely changes while in the alliance the major leader is House Riegan but the rest of the council could fluctuate depending on any number of reasons. This means that any house could rise and fall while in Adrestia and Faerghus that is less likely. Thus, the children of these nobles are raised to introduce themselves with their full name as their house may not be well known or be declining and want their deeds to be directly connected to their family’s image. While the children of the other regions don’t feel the need to include a last name because they’re family is already well established and they may assume you’ve already heard of them. I haven’t played this game in years so I may be way off base and this whole idea could make no sense but I though I’d share anyways lol.
