It honestly sucks to me as I've been a player since (almost) day 1, and because there are parts of the game I do like! But a lot of it feels very samey now, and I'm having a hard time getting back into it. The characters they release, even if the power-creep is... "noticeable" to say the least, are still pretty cool and often worthy of grinding (or at least throwing a few orbs their way to see what happens), and parts of the content feel fun (I really enjoy Forma, it's probably the most Fire Emblem like game mode IMO).

However lately most of the game has felt like the grind it kind of sets itself up to be. The content feels as if it's been circling a drain for a bit, with the same game modes over-and-over again, and it's gotten hard for me to justify spending time playing it, as I know that I'm just grinding for either the next set of characters released or maybe a specific character in the future.

It feels to me like a lot of the variety has really been slowly sucked away from the game. The only real thing I've thought about was using characters I don't normally use (or I just recently got) to clear content, but even that feels kind of like a new coat of paint on the same gameplay.

For reference; I'm not P2W, but I'm also not F2P either, I've spent some money on the game, but not very much (especially compared to some people) and I thought that the money was well spent at least. I've never personally been one to just whale anyways (I did spend some money for Gatekeeper though, I mean too perfect not to), and honestly the majority of the fun I've gotten from the game as of late has been pulling for new characters. Which to me feels, well a bit backwards tbh.

If anyone has any ideas, let me know. Maybe a long break is in order to revitalize it, or maybe there's something I'm missing.
