So I was jammy enough to pull a Legendary Boy with my last few orbs, so I went about building a team around him. My first train of thought was "What's better than 1 unit that gets double boosts? 2 units with double boosts!" This then set my mind a whirling: "What's better than 1 Melee pair? 2 Melee pairs"!
The Team
Please note that all images from here on are with full buffs and during a Fire Season.
The boy himself that started this idea. Fairly standard build, the EP half of the Double Bros. IVs are DEF/-HP since that was the only one I pulled, although it does give him 53 DEF under ideal conditions which is pretty beefy. Bonfire is chosen for the special because of this, I did toy with the idea of giving him Blue Flame but that could end being worse under some conditions and when it's better it's only by one or two damage. Wrath was chosen for the B slot because it's Wrath really.
My favourite unit in this entire game. The PP half of the double bros. IVs are SPD/-HP, not like I had a choice but I do prefer -HP to -RES on L!Marth as it allows him to better deal with mages thanks to his now 36 RES. Distant Counter was chosen to benefit this. Wrath and QP synergise well with Fire Emblem (Even if the stats are wasted). Distant Guard was a carry over from a previous team that benefited well from it, but it synergises well with both Boys so it stays.
The odd duck of the group as he doesn't get the full 6 to every stat, but a great support nonetheless. His main purpose is to give the defensive stats to the others and pick off any blues that the rest of the team can't quite pick off, which his 53/48 offensives help nicely with. Everything else is kinda by the books, might replace WoM with something but not sure what.
The Ranged Specialist. IV is DEF to help suit his tanking nature and oh lord does he tank. You've heard of DD6, even DD9 but thanks to L!Marth this boy is running on the power of DD11. 22 to both defences when initiated on by a ranged opponent, that's 58 DEF and 61 RES (65 during a Fire Season). You'll need a big ol' Luna to make a ranged dent in this boy. Glacies was chosen because there's something satisfying about getting a bonus 52 damage on something.
And that's the team. Not the greatest team by any means but it's sure as hell a fun one.
