Now, power creep is a legitimate complaint and I don't want to seem like I'm taking legitimacy away from people's primary concerns but... why do you care so much about it?
I'm a tier 20 whale, and see a lot of units that have been "power creeped" still around in all of my matches. A unit being better doesn't make yours bad, especially in a game with Skill Inheritance. Hell, I place top 500 at worst every week and I run Ephraim with a combat specific moveset I don't even use him as a buffer.
Power Creep is a very legitimate complaint in gacha games, but I have yet to see anyone explain how its suddenly invalidated the game in a practical way. I still see a ton of Lance and Axe Azura even though Inigo is strictly the superior dancer for Arena, I still see Eirika even though Ephraim is a more useful buffer, etc.

Well, okay, yeah. That happens. Not the first time not the last time. How does that suddenly make Ike's matchups with the rest of the game bad? Did your Ryoma just get disheartened and decide to start sucking?
I'm not trying to sound reductionist, even though I know I am, but Power Creep in a game where unit strength revolves primarily around a Pv"P" setting takes a really long time to truly set in because the game revolves around matchups and not just flat damage numbers. The addition of one new piece doesn't change any other matchup. If you want to discuss or debate in the comments I'd be happy to hear your thoughts as well, I'm not trying to invalidate anyone's feelings, just sharing mine. Thanks!
TLDR: Power Creep is only a game-ending problem if units suddenly become useless, instead of just... not the best anymore.
