I mean, are the creators in on it? Do they realize that it's a super cliche, corny, cheesy, melodrama? Because it is, and I love it. It's so hilarious. I am watching it as though it's a satire/parody of those types of shows, but I'm not sure the creators mean it to be. I think maybe they are meaning for it to be taken 100% seriously as a genuine dramatic show. Like, when Bode rescued that horse and they cut to a shot of the outside of the barn right before Bode came out with the horse, I fully expected him to be riding it (which would have been epic and hilariously awesome by the way). The fact they didn't have Bode ride the horse out tells me that the creators probably don't understand what kind of show this really is, but I sure do, and I love it!
Anyone else watching it the same way I am? Or are y'all genuinely invested like as if this is a serious drama in the golden age of television?
