What does the other end of the 4% withdrawal rate curve look like?
Post Body
I’m aware of the 4% withdrawal rate, and it giving a 95% chance of lasting 30 years. Does that mean 95% of the time, you’ll have at least $1 in 30 years?
If so, that’s 2 standard deviations above the mean. So how much is left after 30years for the rest of the plot? ie, is there a 50% chance I’ll still have a huge portion of my original starting amount?
