Im planning on retiring..my wife will continue to work for benefits for a handful more years. I don't want to tell anyone I'm retiring because I don't want anyone to feel jealous or envious. Also I don't want my family to know so I don't become the defacto babysitter for my sibling's kids (whom I love).
Am I being stupid??
