I have been a Fios user since the beginning but a couple years ago I had to move out of the Fios area. Recent I have moved back in. I immediately got Fios again.
Since then, my internet goes out 1-2 times a week. Sometimes I can get it to restart but many times I have to call and they report back "Ok, we fixed it on our end." And, at least 3-4 times in the last year they have had to come physically to the telecom room (Apartment building) to fix something.
It is getting out of hand. Internet went out AGAIN yesterday. Called for 2 hours. Explained again to the service guy in India that I have already tried all repair options and its on THEIR end to fix. They said it would be working today. It is not. Called again. Trying to run through all the standard checks I already did. Told them they were suppose to come out and fix it.
They said they had no service ticket for that. Are you F'n kidding me?!?. Now I have lost it. Told the technician that this was intolerable and at this time they own me for all the times the service has been out. I was informed by the service technician that according to their records, THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME I HAD CALLED ABOUT A PROBLEM AND THERE WAS NO OTHER RECORD OF ME HAVING A SERVICE ISSUE. I have 8 phone calls to the Fios service number over the Last 2 months stored on my phone!!
I have always supported Fios. I have always convinced people to join Fios. I have now cancelled my service and gone to Cox (do you understand how bad the Fios service has to be to actually decide to cancel and go to Cox??) I will never recommend Fios again. Fios service has become crap. This is a sad day for a once great service.
