This is a question about a Swedish film, Gräns (2018). Every time I started typing a post for r/Sweden, I had so many backhanded comments for Swedes that I decided I might as well post here.
I don't speak Swedish (and my Finnish is just a glorified A1), but obviously the Vore character is much different than Rita.
I know the actor playing him is a Finn–is the character obviously Finnish as well?–and if so, can you tell from his accent whether he is Swedish-Finnish (or is FennoSwede the preferred term or just Swedish-speaking Finnish? ) or just a Finn speaking Swedish as a second language?
Kiitos in advance for helping me avoid ridiculing some Swedes today.
