I'm looking for a picture book from my childhood about building a treehouse on a tree in the middle of a pond which was fed by ocean water.

It was a little tiny pond fed by the ocean with clams in it. There was an island in the middle with a tree and that's where they built the tree house. I think it was a girl and a boy doing the building. And then at the end they harvested some of the clams and made clam chowder.
