I remember listening to a book on tape with my dad probably around the year 2002 and the book read like a true crime novel. It was essentially about a guy who was in prison and you slowly find out that the reason he is there is he killed his whole family. However, you then find out that he was horribly abused by his dad (i think) and his mom overlooked it. I remember the cover was kind of creepy like the silloutte of a man and it was black and red.
I thought the title was silent fury or silent rage but I've looked up every combination of those words and then some and I cannot find this book. Please help!
