Greetings! We’re a guitarist (myself), vocalist, and drummer in Melbourne, Australia. We’re seeking a bassist with a similar musical vision to complete our band.

We want to exclusively play original material, and play live semi‑professionally, but not full‑time; we very much enjoy our regular jobs. We have written music and lyrics for some time, and have developed enough material for a short setlist; however, we would welcome us all writing. Music for us is purely about enjoyment and connecting with other people, including our audience. We want to create a supportive and fun environment for us to be able to explore creatively and just enjoy ourselves. We’re open to hearing from people from all walks of life.

Our favoured music and style tends to be of classic post‑punk, new wave, and alternative origins. As examples, think of The Police, R.E.M., The B-52s, Cocteau Twins, The Cars, The Smiths, and similar. We tend to be attracted to sounds with a clean but hard edge. My personal vision is to combine accompaniment parts in that style with vibrant blues- and rock-based lead guitar soloing. Our lyrics tend to explore a range of real‑life topics, with mine being based on emotion and abstract concepts of the mind. We would welcome joining with fans of a variety of styles like classic punk or punk‑pop, new wave, indie, gothic rock, or classic pop, but I personally wouldn’t be suited to more conservative straight blues or classic rock, ‘70s adult rock, any style of metal or heavy rock, electronic, or ambient.
