Claiming myself on taxes to get financial aid
Post Body

I'm about to be 19 and graduated highschool in May, I'm going into my sophomore year of college since I started in highschool, I've been working for a while and I'm going to claim myself when I do my taxes come January. How would that impact a FAFSA? Could I use my income instead of my parents so I could actually qualify for something? Because as of right now I don't qualify for anything as my parents have a decent income, but debt and expenses match it almost entirely, so I'm definitely not going to burden them with my college costs. Does anyone have any advice on getting financial aid?
