Post Body

Hoping to get some advice here - I'm never returning to the US. Now I'm in Mexico, hope to be in Spain in the future.

I want to start investing very small amount of money per month. I don't have much now but I'd like to do a Roth IRA. It seems like no US brokerages want to open me an account because I'm not in the US. I work as a 1099 contractor for US clients and opening an LLC soon for my future contracts.

Should I just start investing with a Mexican firm instead? Or are there any US brokerages thatbwould accept me now? (I'm thinking like 200 usd a month to start, I don't have significant income or savings now but I'm already in my 30s and I haven't begun to invest yet. Better late than never!)
