My financial advisor gave me Rich Dad Poor Dad to read...it doesn't seem that great, and reviews online make the author sound super sketchy...should I take this to mean anything about the quality of my financial advisor??
Edit: Thanks for the responses! They make me feel a little better - I've had him for awhile, he manages an investment account someone else opened for me, and I'd like to switch / close out the account but am wary of the tax implications, etc. Something to look into. We really only meet once or twice a year, but I don't really like/trust him and the account fees are among the highest out there, I believe, so I guess I was thinking this was another point against him...
Thanks for the other book recs! I'm older but new to thinking about finance as I'm really ready to escape the rat race post-2020!
Edit Edit: Also, I'm only one chapter in, and I hate his writing style - I'm a pretty avid reader so that alone was driving me crazy but I guess I'll finish it out so I can at least establish a baseline for myself...
