So I'm starting my MBA in Spring at a "decent" school (75-100). I am in the US South and am open to relocating within the US South. I have 4yoe (6 at graduation):
- 2 years back office big AM firm
- 1 year back office at BB IB (officer title)
- 1 year in "project management/consulting" at an F500 financial firm (I work with PE and VC clients on portco financial reporting, current role)
I will be working at my current firm during MBA and they will be paying for much of it. I do have to commit to 12 months additionally after graduation at my current firm.
What kind of options can I look for after graduation? I would love to shoot for management consulting; either big 4 or boutique. My strengths lean more toward soft skills/presentations/qualitative things. I'm pretty outgoing, a good presenter, and decent writer.
Senior FP&A analyst would be a fallback I guess and go for CFO track. Or just staying where I'm at with a pay bump/internal move.
