Hello,
I recently moved on from a call center job with an investment bank and have my series 7 and 66. The next job is a contract position (that is off the phones), with the potential for a permanent position (that pays quite well, think 25% more than most decent jobs). I plan to stick with this for a bit, but for future planning would like to see what is available after this. My previous boss was trying to push me towards a risk/compliance analyst position, so I am thinking that might be the way to go. I have been looking at eFinancialCareers and Indeed, and most jobs on there are entry level, even in places like Chicago). I am just wondering if there are any resources to see what is available and work on the skill sets needed for the next positions (I am thinking maybe work on excel skills and MAYBE CFA if I have the time). Any insight on what to do next? Thank you.
