Offer 1: compliance data analyst at large brokerage firm in greater NYC area (Greenwich CT to be exact); 90k base salary, 100 minute commute 3 days a week
Pros: - interesting work - very good benefits - name recognition - higher pay
Cons: - that commute
Offer 2: operations analyst at large regional bank in Hartford, CT; 80k base salary, 20 minute commute 3 days a week
Pros: - very easy commute - interesting work - semi solid name recognition - really seem to gel with team
Cons: - seems to be “safer” with lower ceiling but higher floor - unsure about as good of exit opportunities
