Are spells shared or something ?

Hi
This is on zodiac age. I have Fran as a white mage and as I get Ashe, she became black mage. However, I noticed that Ashe got some healing spells. Also, Fran have some black Magic spell.
Are spells shared ? Same things goes from balthier and Basch having steal technique, when it's something from Vaan
