Honestly I'm pretty far into the game and I'm surprised I didn't really do anything about it til now (I just got Cloud back from his Lifestream breakdown and we're on our way to Junon)
Early on I noticed that the d-pad buttons seemed to be a little jumpy, e.g. I'd go to click on the Materia for my second party member and the third's would open
Now I'm also noticing that if I run through someone's slots to de-equip each Materia manually (I don't know why I do this, I know there's options to take it all out in one step, but yeah) the cursor will actually skip slots if I'm doing it fast.
So it basically seems like the d-pad arrows are hypersensitive to being pressed. or something.
And so, I've had my current joycons since 2021, so I figured it was some sort of controller issue. Today in Target I randomly bought a new pair, came home, put on the game, having the same exact issues.
Again, I think I just didn't consider it that big a deal because this is a turn-based RPG so some extra-sensitive button issues haven't really caused anything major, but now I'm wondering if it's a problem with the game itself or something
..................also hey, while I'm here, Crisis Core, how's it run on Switch? I have my eye on that...
