You know what, I think I've decided that my favourite part of these games is the fact that the whole party is present. Now I haven't played a single player final fantasy game since 10 so this may not be new but it is to me and I love it.

I love that I don't just choose my favourite characters and run through the story and leave the rest at home to "plan" or whatever excuse. I love that some quests lock in certain party members. I love that side quests will have a party member (or two) join you.

I can't wait for more modern games to incorporate this!
