I was replaying the game (I don't even count how many times I did that) and was thinking about the ending. This is not a rant, just how it made me feel after n-times this time.

Spoilers ahead:

>!I really don't like that Eiko became the adopted daughter of Cid instead of joining Tantalus, she's a born actress/thief and had such a great chemistry with Baku. Or Freya ending up with Sir Fratley instead of having her own story of rebuilding Burmecia and/or ending up with Amarant (romantically or just as adventure partners). Again, they got set up really well just to be dropped.

Quina becoming the head chef of Alexandria felt fitting, and Steiner and Beatrix were also well done.

Vivi's ending was great, though his offspring opened up lot more questions, like their lifespan and how they were conceived (were they produced like him? Was it magic?) Garnet and Zidane were fine as well, thought I wonder how Zidane did as king consort, if he wasn't craving adventure anymore.!<
