So I have never played any games like Final Fantasy such as Xenoblade Chronicles for example. I didn't avoid these games and bash them branding these games as weeb trash as I have seen online. The games just never appealed to me, I am in a few gaming groupchats on twitter with some friends who are HUGE fans of FF and XC. They all share a love for these games and I always feel a bit left out when they talk about how good they are, I am a bit weird... I like what I like and I am a bit wary of trying new things, that is just in my nature. Recently they have been pushing and pushing me to try the new FF7R demo ti my disagreement saying it's not my kind of game.

The new Nintendo mini direct dropped and the first game was Xenoblade Chronicles DE and I said this looks pretty cool, nice art style and the game looked lovely. They jumped on this, telling me to play FF7R again, comparing the 2 franchises. I decided ok time for a change, I watched the YouTube channel Let'sPlay play through the FF7R demo and immediately I was taken aback, the game looked out of this world. I booted up my PS4 and downloaded the demo straight away, much to the pleasure of my chat. I put my phone down and decided that the demo would only be around 45 minutes or so long as that's how long the letsplay video was.

WOW! As soon as the intro started I was gobsmacked, the game looked gorgeous, I felt crushed when the man stood on the flower and that was me hooked. In comes cloud and he looked badass with this huge sword and that was me. I sat playing the demo without pausing or checking my phone, I had so much fun learning the combat style and even got used to dodging, using abilities or spells while using my sword at the same time. I loved every second of it, the final boss was a grind but not a boring I wanna finish this grind, it was an achievement when I had defeated it. After the demo finished, I went to my Gc to share the news and they were so hyped, now I can finally hype up a game with them that I am genuinely excited for and they have been filling me in about how the game is going to be broken into parts and I am so so stoked for it.

Sorry if I have offended anyone for comparing FF and XC, I am truly a noob to everything but I can't wait to dive into this game and hopefully more.

TL:DR - I have never played FF much to the dismay of my friends and I finally played the FF7R demo and I was blown away of how good it looked and played and I can't wait to get it.
