Ive been playing for nearly 3 hours and its been nothing but a nonstop linear pathway ever since I started!!! The sound of Lightnings footsteps are seriously going to make me loose my shit, it sounds like that one kid in your kindergarten class who kept clapping the chalkboard erasers together, only the erasers were replaced with coconuts. And also the tutorials every twenty seconds. But it's is gorgeous and the battle system is great but dammit im starting to get drained. I want to like this game but playing normally isn't interesting me in the slightest. Ive played every Final Fantasy and enjoyed them all FROM the beginning of the game. So should I just bear with the pain a while longer, or should I just stop playing now?
