I'm conflicted between Dark Souls 2 and FFX. I heard that DS2 will be like the 1st with some additions so now I guess it's time to hear about FFX/X-2.

I never finished the game. I got very early into the game (like 3 hours in) when my PS2 broke so I never really got into the meat of the game. I'm familiar with FFVII and FFXIII so how does it compare to those 2? I heard it's INCREDIBLY linear and it's one thing I didn't really like about FFXIII. I looked at the combat of X at looked pretty classic and that's what I like. Other opinions on them?

Also, is X-2 really bad? I've heard a lot of negative stuff about it.
