Pixel remaster PC custom resolution

Hi there! I'm currently playing through the pixel remaster version of FF6 on PC and loving it... except!
All the resolutions feel a little too big for me. Obviously the smaller the window the better pixel art is going to look, but there are very limited options in the config for resolutions.
Is there anyone that might know how to mod a custom resolution or force one in general?
