Hey folks -

I played FFX when it came out, probably once or twice again on the PS2 while still in gen. I’ve been a franchise fan for life, and find myself revisiting some older titles with pixel and all the VII hoopla. And they are fun to play with (in front of) the kiddos.

Many years ago, I picked up the FF X/X2 HD remaster for PS Vita. In fact, when the Vita was a thing, I pretty much made it my retro portable final fantasy machine and frankly just hadn’t gotten to X yet.

That changed this week and, while the intro is great and nostalgic and I love the idea of traveling with the game on near future business trips, I also find myself wanting to play it on the big screen and enjoying the remastered graphics. Both the Switch and Steam have been good experiences for the remasters; it wouldn’t be the end of the word to buy again if worth it.

So what’re the crowd’s thoughts - logistics aside, any remaster better than the others for this game. Are the graphics worth more than the Vita can deliver?

Side note, I didn’t like X2 when it came out, but y’all seem to be fans so I’ll be ready to play it again too, probably on the same medium I go with on X.
