So 3 weeks ago a guy I have worked with before came to me asking me if between Sunday the 29th and Wednesday morning (tomorrow) I could edit 2 15-minutes-ish videos (cuts, some text added, voice over, some slight effets... they're instructional videos) for 300€.I said I would do it for 400, we settled on 350. He sent me the contents of the first video, rushed me to get a first draft this morning so the instructor could do a voiceover looking at the video. I did.
It's now 8pm at night Tuesday and I've just received both audios and the contents of the second video. The "audios" are recorded directly on the camera mic in 20 little movies. The texts are notebook pics sent on whatsapp and I have to transcribe them.
The videographer does this for a living and the instructor is an award winning pastry chef. I don't have much experience, but they don't know that and the videos I make them are much better than the previous editor's.
Would you ask for 400? I don't really care about burning bridges, they're an absolute mess to work with and not my best contacts in the industry.
Edit: I realize now title should say price. English is not my first language.
