Hey all. So I recently shot some footage for a project. I am now in the process of color grading in the latest version of Premiere Pro. Very new to making content with my phone, fyi. I shot the footage on an iPhone 7, using the Filmic Pro app. I opted for the Log V2 setting as opposed to say 'Natural' or 'Dynamic.' My understanding was I'd get the most latitude for color grading after. So the shots came out fine as they are. But when I try to really push the saturation in the Lumetri Color panel...the image starts to degrade, noticeably. It gets noisy. I found a workaround that will allow me to proceed with my footage but for the future...how do folks feel about the Log V2 setting for the purposes of color grading versus 'Natural' or 'Dynamic'? To be honest it doesn't seem to be ideal. If anything I notice even in some of the darkest sections of the image if the lighting had been even a little less bright those sections could have easily have been on the noisy side. As I said, very new to shooting with my phone. Does it come down to simply just the setting on Filmic Pro or is it the setting plus my phone just not being capable enough? If specs for the media or anything else is needed can provide. Thanks.

Broad daylight. Very sunny day. I had to use an ND filter and still keep exposure settings way down cause it was so bright outside. The finished footage looked good but I just wish I could play with it more in terms of the saturation.
