okay im a bit toasted rn but hear me out on this throughout the movie until his wife died, john kramer lived a simple life and was a civil engineer about to be a father. Now later on this addict causes his wife to miscarry sparking john into wanting revenge, but instead of getting justice through his broken system, or yknow how people are on the news he drugs him kidnaps him and puts him into a death game. Now this itself could have its own explanation, he could've gotten some sort of concoction from the clinic his wife worked at. And probably had some way of getting metal supplies considering he's a civil engineer so that can explain One of his victims. however, there are atleast 12 movies with him involved with them (all but spiral) so this leads me to my question is Where? is this money coming from How? is it being used and Who? is giving it to kramer or How? is kramer obtaining it and before you can say he went back to the clinic the problem with that is he couldnt have gotten it from the clinic from the first place because when i did my research this so called clinic was a one room building with a security door system "The clinic was located on the ground floor of a multistoried building. Between the staircase, which led up to other rooms with no connection to the clinic, and the clinic itself was another room with a security door system. The doors of both sides of this room had to be unlocked everytime they were used as the doors clicked shut whenever they were closed. " source is in the link below (i bet this infuriated kramer more knowing the addict did that for nothing) so this brings us back to another question how did he get the drugs? you could say he used recreational and hard ones but that would make him very sloppy and if he wasnt careful hed cause them to OD before they even get to the game. So he has to be using medical grade drugs used to sedate people he'll also need them for the cures to the deadly poisons and other killer drugs he makes his victims endure the bad stuff i could easily see getting off of the black market but once again where is his funding? A civil engineer makes about $88,000-$117,000 a year thats not nearly enough for all of the traps and drugs hes used. Maybe he got someone on the inside to provide it for him or he genuinely orchestrated hospital robberies, the possibilities of how are endless. Theres one more elephant in the room that has bothered me alot, every movie has been in a different location with most of them abandoned and only one was family owned (the farm in jigsaw) but no matter how big he has the entire place setup with traps for his victims and whoever comes to rescue them. Some places are HUGE, there is no way one person hell even if he had his minions at the time they would not be able to setup in such short amount of time with such large of areas to cover. i rest my case i think this might be bigger then kramer guys
