Was Megamind vs The Crime Syndicate intentionally bad?

What exactly were they expecting with Megamind 2? They sent it straight to streaming clearly not a cash grab and all the attention it gathered was negative I can assure you that there’s going to be maybe 3-5 people who watch the series. They didn’t even advertise it a whole both no one talked about it! There’s editing errors in the TRAILER. The cast from the original film has been almost completely replaced. Literally all of this is information that doesn’t need you to look any further than the trailer and one google search. They had to have known it was a bad movie!
