If you work at a talent agency you know work can get tiring and sometimes very fustrating. I am keeping my companies name anonymous for this post but I am an agent at a prominent Los Angeles talent agency and this week I just took one of biggest L's in my book.
My Situation:
I am helping my client get screenwriting gigs and I sent an email to a foreign film company and I addressed his name but I accidentally addressed the wrong company in my email. (I didn't really read over my email I just glanced over the email and I'm sick with COVID) so I am half awake doing my job from home.
SO comes the following day I got an email from the producer and the producer SCOLDED me and telling me how he was "offended" by my submission of my client.
I don't know why but I love to laugh at my own mistakes and this is one of them. Thank god my senior is chill and told me "shit happens" and told me to move on, don't do It again, and not to worry about it.
*Let me Know what you all think and If there is anyone in this forum who works at a talent agency either as a manger, talent agent, or assistant I would like to hear your insight!
